⑴ 中國歷史上經歷了哪幾次翻譯高潮代表人物有哪些

中國翻譯史上出現過三次翻譯高潮：從東漢到宋朝的佛經翻譯、明末清初的西學翻譯和從鴉片戰爭到五四運動的西學翻譯。

1、從東漢到宋朝的佛經翻譯，代表人物：玄奘、晉代道安、苻秦的鳩摩羅什。

從兩漢至唐宋時期，佛教傳入中國並與中國傳統的儒、道糅合。伴隨著佛經的翻譯入傳,印度的哲學、文學藝術、醫學、天文、算術乃至語言在我國都有一定的影響，但這一時期的翻譯活動還是以傳播宗教為主。

2、明末清初的西學翻譯，代表人物：徐光啟、李之藻。

那時由於對外交通的需要，創立了四夷館，培訓翻譯人才。明代末期，西學東漸，翻譯工作更活躍起來。但此時翻譯的方向已完全改變，不再是印度的佛經，而是歐洲的天文、幾何、醫學等方面的典籍，中國翻譯史已達到了一個新的階段。

3、從鴉片戰爭到五四運動的西學翻譯，代表人物：魯迅、嚴復。

鴉片戰爭以後，中國有識之士痛感學習西方之必要，翻譯活動又逐漸興起，在中國翻譯史上形成又一個新階段。五四運動以後，中國歷史進入了現代，翻譯的重要性遠邁前古。中國新文學的興起同翻譯是分不開的。

(1)翻譯歷史事件擴展閱讀：

由於時代不同，嚴復對「信、達、雅」翻譯標準的解釋有一定的局限性，但許多年來，這三個字始終沒有被我國翻譯界所廢棄，其原因在於：作為翻譯標准，這三個字的提法簡明扼要，又有層次，主次突出；三者之中，「信」和「達」更為重要，而「信」與「達」二者之中，「信」尤為重要。

因此，有些翻譯工作者仍然沿用這三個字作為當今的翻譯標准，但是舊瓶裝新酒，一些人已賦予這三個字新的內容和要求。例如，他們認為「雅」已不再是嚴復所指的「爾雅」和「用漢以前字法句法」，而是指「保存原作的風格」問題。但總而言之，嚴復對我國翻譯事業是有很大貢獻的。
